Common Vlocity EPC-CPQ Errors and Solutions

I f you are a Vlocity CPQ developer or Dev Ops engineer who does Vlocity Product migration activities in you project, you are in right place to know something new here. Today, we will discuss common errors we will get while executing the CMT & other jobs in Vlocity EPC-CPQ. So let's get started. CLEAR MANAGED PLATFORM CACHE ISSUE - Job will not get complete and Apex job will fail with DM 10001 Exception. ISSUE -  Job will not get complete and Apex job will fail with DM 10001 Exception. Solution -  Need to clear the platform cache from the CPQ Partition under Platform cache. CPQ/CMT engine is not able to clear up the cached records which are more than 10K and job is getting failed with DML 10001 exception. Steps to clear the Platform cache Go to setup Search for Platform Cache Click on the platform cache Click on the CPQ Partition Click on the "Clear Cache" Errors on Refresh Platform Cache ISSUE -  Job will not get complete and Apex job will fail with DM 10001 Exceptio

How did I crack Vlocity/Industry CPQ developer certification?

  As I am working in Vlocity EPC space from more than 1.5 years and I thought cracking certification will be easy but for my surprise, it is not easy as we think if we don’t have all the exam topics covered for the certification. I am able to crack the CPQ certification in my second attempt. I would like to share my experience with all of you as it may help many of you to get pass the exam. About the Exam- 60 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions , up to 5 unscored questions* Time allotted to complete the exam:  105 minutes   Passing Score:  63%   Below are the topics which I went through while preparation.
